Looking for a new job or a change of career in the New Year? Belfast International Airport, part of the VINCI Airports network, is holding its first major recruitment fair of 2026 to help resource and support its anticipated growth as a busy summer season approaches.
This is a fantastic opportunity for North Belfast residents and beyond to explore a wide variety of roles. The Recruitment Fair will take place on Saturday, January 31st, 2026, at Belfast's Voco Hotel in the Gasworks area, from 11am to 3pm.
Teams from the Airport and its associated partner companies will be on hand to discuss the roles, salaries, and benefits, as well as to support candidates through the application process. Participating companies include Swissport, Wilson James, Mount Charles, the Airport Taxi company, Pret, and Mitie.
There are over 100 full-time, part-time, and seasonal roles currently available across diverse areas such as ground handling, security, retail, driving, and catering. This recruitment drive is crucial in supporting the Airport's ongoing £100 million investment programme.
Phase one of this programme, which included a new security building, arrivals exit hall, and an enhanced duty-free experience, has already been completed. The next phase is focused on transforming the airside Departures area by upgrading food and beverage options and introducing a broader range of outlets to better serve passengers.
Jaclyn Coulter, Human Resources Manager at Belfast International Airport, highlighted the potential: “To support our wider transformation programme, our airport partners are looking for candidates for a wide variety of roles with attractive salaries and benefits. The Airport offers an exciting work environment, and there are plenty of options to carve out a long-term career path within the travel and aviation sector.”
