Belfast Business Boosts Local Inclusive Football Team with New Kit

Belfast-based b4b Group has announced a new kit sponsorship for the Carryduff Colts Inclusion Football Team, providing a welcome boost to young players aged 7-15 with disabilities. This partnership highlights the importance of community support and inclusive sport, fostering confidence and friendships on the pitch. The Colts, who were named Disability Sports Team of the Year in 2025, will now proudly wear their new gear as they compete in local leagues.

A fantastic boost for community sport has been announced as Belfast-based IT and telecommunications provider, b4b Group, steps up to sponsor the Carryduff Colts Inclusion Football Team. This generous partnership sees the company provide a brand-new kit for the team, which is made up of boys and girls aged between seven and 15, all of whom have learning and/or physical disabilities.

The Carryduff Colts, based at the Lough Moss Leisure Centre, are a celebrated team within the local sporting community. They actively compete in the South Belfast Youth Inclusion League and the Irish FA Junior Disability Cup. Their dedication and spirit were recognised when they were named Disability Sports Team of the Year at the 2025 Lisburn & Castlereagh Sports Awards.

Francis Downey, Head of Sales at b4b Group, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership. “Supporting the communities we work within is hugely important to b4b Group, and we are incredibly proud to partner with the Carryduff Colts Inclusion Team,” he stated. Downey recently attended a training session, noting, “It was clear to see the fun and friendships being created by the players and coaches. Football is a great platform for bringing people together to make special memories, and b4b Group is delighted to help support the team with the provision of a new kit. We wish them well for the future and look forward to seeing the team continue to make memories.”

Sean McCaffrey, Head Coach of the Carryduff Colts Inclusion Programme, highlighted the significant impact of such support. “Having the support of a leading business such as b4b Group is fantastic, and the new kit provides a real boost for our players and coaches,” McCaffrey said. “For many of our players, football is about confidence, friendship, and being part of a team, so this kind of support makes a genuine difference.”

This partnership with Carryduff Colts is part of b4b Group’s wider commitment to community engagement. The company also maintains an ongoing charity partnership with Hope 4 Life NI, with their annual golf day last September raising almost £10,000 towards mental health awareness and resilience.
