Police are appealing for information following a hijacking at Cavehill Country Park on Thursday night. Two men were forced from their vehicle in what has been described as a frightening ordeal for the victims.

Detectives are currently investigating a distressing incident that took place at Cavehill Country Park on the evening of Thursday, April 2. Around 9:45 PM, two men were sitting in a black Vauxhall Grandland in the park's car park when they were approached by two individuals. The suspects forced the car door open and manhandled the occupants out of the vehicle.
The suspects are described as being in their 30s and spoke with local accents. Both men were wearing snoods at the time, and it is believed that one of them may have been carrying a metal object. While the victims were not physically harmed, the police have described the event as a frightening ordeal for those involved.
The local community is encouraged to stay vigilant and assist the authorities in their search for those responsible. If you were in the Cavehill Country Park area on Thursday night or have seen a black Vauxhall Grandland being driven in suspicious circumstances, please get in touch.
