A section of Crumlin Road has been closed this evening as firefighters tackle a fire inside the historic courthouse. Drivers are urged to seek alternative routes between Agnes Street and Carlisle Circus, though access to the Mater Hospital remains open.

Emergency services are currently on the scene dealing with a fire at the Crumlin Road Courthouse in North Belfast.
The incident began inside the derelict landmark on Monday evening, drawing a substantial response from local emergency personnel. At least six fire appliances, an operational car, and three police vehicles have been deployed to bring the blaze under control.
A safety cordon is in place along the pavement outside the historic building, and the PSNI has closed Crumlin Road in both directions between Agnes Street and Carlisle Circus. Motorists are urged to find alternative routes for their journeys this evening, although officials have confirmed that access to the Mater Hospital remains open.
The prominent Charles Lanyon-designed site has stood vacant since closing its doors in June 1998 and has sadly suffered repeated vandalism over the years.
Local residents and commuters are advised to avoid the area while fire crews work to make the building and surrounding street safe.
