'Deeply missed and never forgotten': Belfast care home's emotional tribute to pregnant nurse after crash death "She was one of the kindest, most caring people, with a wonderful sense of humour and a heart full of compassion for her residents and colleagues." 11:11, 19 Jan 2026 A Belfast care home has paid a heartfelt tribute to one of its staff members who died alongside her unborn baby and husband following a horror car crash in Co Antrim . Ralph Anthony Singco, Cathrene Kith Quinones Singco, and their baby daughter – whose name has been confirmed as Kate, died from their injuries following the two-car collision near Nutts Corner in Crumlin on January 11. Tragically, the couple, who were both aged in their 30s and from the Philippines, had just marked their sixth wedding anniversary the previous day. : : It is understood the young couple had been living in the north Belfast community for the last four or five years, but Mr Singco’s family had been settled in the area for 20 years. Crowds of people turned out to St Vincent de Paul Church in Ligoniel for – which remembered the family in hymns and prayer. It heard that a GoFundMe page set up to pay for the family’s repatriation to their home country of the Philippines has raised enough to do so . Their loved ones have thanked people for their kindness and generosity after the fundraising appeal raised almost £70,000. Kith, who was seven months pregnant, worked in Our Lady’s Care Home in west Belfast as a nurse, while Ralph worked as a care assistant. In an emotional tribute, Our Lady's, part of the Macklin Group, said Kith would be 'deeply missed and never forgotten'. A spokesperson said: "We are heartbroken at the loss of our dearest colleague and friend, Kith. She was one of the kindest, most caring people, with a wonderful sense of humour and a heart full of compassion for her residents and colleagues. "A woman of strong faith, Kith was filled with hope and joy as she looked forward to welcoming baby Kate with her beloved husband. While our hearts are broken, we take comfort in believing they are now together, held in God’s loving presence. Kith will be deeply missed and never forgotten."
