Police are appealing for information and footage following a daytime burglary on Donegal Park Avenue in North Belfast. Cash and sporting equipment were taken after a home was broken into on Sunday, August 16.

North Belfast residents are being urged to check their home security footage following a weekend burglary in the Donegal Park Avenue area.
The break-in occurred on Sunday, August 16, between 10:00am and 1:00pm. Intruders gained entry by smashing a window before ransacking the upstairs rooms. A quantity of cash and several items of sporting equipment were stolen from the property.
Police investigating the incident are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and noticed suspicious activity to get in touch. Officers are particularly keen to review any dashcam, ring doorbell, or private CCTV footage recorded in the vicinity during those hours.
Anyone with information can assist the investigation by contacting police on the 101 non-emergency number or via the PSNI online witness appeal portal, quoting reference number 816 of 16/08/26. Reports can also be made completely anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
