Detectives are appealing for help from the local community following a serious assault in North Belfast during the early hours of Easter Sunday. A young man in his 20s attended hospital around 1:30 am on April 5 with a severe injury to his arm that has been described as potentially life-changing.
The incident is believed to have taken place in the Duncairn Gardens area at approximately 1:00 am. While the full circumstances surrounding the attack remain unclear, police are treating the matter as a serious assault and are working to identify those responsible for this incident.
Local residents and anyone who may have been in the area at the time are being urged to come forward with any information. Police are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who might have CCTV, dash-cam, or mobile phone footage that could help with their ongoing enquiries.
