Funeral Arrangements Announced for Local Woman Karen Doran

The North Belfast community has been saddened by the passing of Karen Doran, who died in Fuerteventura on January 19. Tributes have been pouring in for Karen, who is remembered as a true friend and a beloved member of our community who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Karen was the partner of Aaron, the much-loved daughter of Cecilia and the late Noel, and a devoted mother to Louise and Thomas. Her loss is felt profoundly by her entire family circle, including her siblings, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Friends and neighbors are invited to pay their respects as Karen reposes at her home starting this Sunday afternoon. The funeral procession will leave her residence at 2:30 PM this Tuesday, arriving at Holy Cross Church for a Requiem Mass at 3:00 PM. Following the service, a committal will take place at Roselawn Crematorium at 5:20 PM.

The community continues to offer thoughts and prayers to Karen’s family during this difficult time. As many have shared in their tributes, she was taken far too soon, but the memories of her friendship and kindness will live on in the hearts of those she left behind.
