Detectives investigating the murder of Robbie Lawlor in North Belfast have arrested a man in Liverpool. The suspect, aged in his 40s, has been brought to Northern Ireland for questioning by police.

Detectives investigating the fatal shooting of Robbie Lawlor in North Belfast have made an arrest in connection with the case.
A man in his 40s was arrested by Merseyside Police in Liverpool on Wednesday, September 23. He has since been transported to Northern Ireland, where he is being questioned by detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
Robbie Lawlor was shot dead outside a residential property in the Etna Drive area of Ardoyne on April 4, 2020.
A PSNI spokesperson confirmed the development, stating that the man remains in custody for interview following his transfer from Merseyside.
The ongoing investigation previously saw 44-year-old Jonathan Gill, with an address at Malahide Road, Clontarf, appear in court charged with the murder of Mr Lawlor. He was also charged with the possession of a 9mm pistol between April 2 and April 5, 2020.
