A 41-year-old man has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of Robbie Lawlor in North Belfast in 2020. The individual was detained in Liverpool and is scheduled to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court.

A 41-year-old man has been charged in connection with the murder of Robbie Lawlor in North Belfast. The incident occurred in 2020 when Mr Lawlor was shot dead outside a residential property in the Etna Drive area.
The suspect was arrested by officers in Liverpool on Wednesday before being formally charged with murder. He also faces charges for the possession of a firearm or ammunition with intent to endanger life or cause serious damage to property.
He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Friday, September 25. As is standard legal procedure, all formal charges will be subject to review by the Public Prosecution Service.
