Good news for our local tech community! A brand-new initiative, the 'Pathway to Growth' programme, has been launched to provide a vital boost for ambitious tech companies across Northern Ireland. This fantastic opportunity, a partnership between Belfast-based commercial startup accelerator Raise Ventures and Moyola.io, offers expert-led sales strategy workshops specifically designed to help businesses transition from early sales success to steady, consistent growth.
While Northern Ireland boasts a vibrant ecosystem for early-stage tech founders, with excellent support from organisations like Founder Labs, Catalyst, and our local universities, a clear gap has emerged. Many tech companies that have moved beyond initial development stages often find themselves lacking the practical, scalable support needed to build repeatable sales processes and achieve significant commercial expansion. This often means relying on founder-led sales, which can be challenging to sustain and scale.
The 'Pathway to Growth' workshops are here to bridge that gap. The programme focuses on equipping tech businesses with the tools and strategies to move past instinct-driven selling. Participants will learn to interrogate their existing sales data, build robust, enterprise-ready sales frameworks, and develop a structured, team-driven approach to commercial growth.
Jenny Ervine from Raise Ventures highlighted the programme's importance: “Northern Ireland has brilliant innovation support, but for companies that have started generating revenue and are ready to scale, opportunities to build real commercial execution capabilities are scarce. These workshops, which Seamus Cushley and I are delivering, are all about transforming founders’ hard-won sales experience into systematic and predictable revenue growth.”
This initiative is a fantastic resource for any tech company in our community, including those here in North Belfast, looking to solidify their market position, enter new enterprise markets, and attract the talent needed to accelerate their journey. By participating, local businesses can lay the groundwork for truly sustainable growth and scale-up success, contributing to a stronger, more dynamic tech sector for all of Northern Ireland.
