A male pedestrian has been taken to hospital following a hit-and-run collision on Glandore Avenue on Monday evening. Emergency services, including the Air Ambulance, attended the scene, and police are carrying out enquiries. Local residents and motorists are advised to seek alternative routes while the investigation continues.

Our thoughts are with a local man who has been hospitalised following a distressing hit-and-run incident on Glandore Avenue in North Belfast on Monday evening, 20th July.
Emergency services, including the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene after receiving reports of the collision at approximately 6:10 PM. The male pedestrian was treated at the scene before being transported to the hospital for further care.
Police officers remained at Glandore Avenue on Monday evening to conduct thorough enquiries into the incident. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes while emergency teams carried out their vital work.
As a close-knit community, we wish the injured man a full and speedy recovery. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has any dashcam or CCTV footage from the Glandore Avenue area around 6:10 PM on Monday is urged to contact the PSNI to assist with their ongoing investigation.
