Police are appealing for information following two separate criminal damage incidents at a home in the Forthriver Road area of North Belfast. The attacks, which involved graffiti and broken windows, are being treated as racially motivated hate crimes.

Police are appealing for information and witnesses following two reports of criminal damage at a residential property in the Forthriver Road area of North Belfast.
The first incident was reported shortly before 7:40am on Sunday, 16th August. It was reported that graffiti had been sprayed onto the home and a pane of glass in the front door was damaged sometime between 10:00pm on Saturday, 15th August, and 7:00am on Sunday morning.
A second incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, 17th August. Police received a report around 12:45am that the property's living room window had been smashed. A male wearing a black hooded top and riding a black bicycle was seen leaving the scene following the attack.
Police have confirmed that enquiries are ongoing and both incidents are currently being treated as racially motivated hate crimes.
Officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the Forthriver Road area or who has information that could assist the investigation to get in touch.
