Local police are appealing for witnesses following an assault on Tomb Street that left a man unconscious in the early hours of Sunday morning. Officers are requesting any available video footage or information from the public to assist with their enquiries.

Police in North Belfast are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in the Tomb Street area in the early hours of Sunday morning, May 17. At approximately 12:30 am, a report was received that a man had been punched in the head by another male and knocked unconscious.
Officers attended the scene, and the injured man was taken to the hospital for treatment. Enquiries into the incident are currently ongoing as police work to determine the full circumstances of the attack.
Local officers are asking anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch. They are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have dash-cam, CCTV, or other video footage that could assist with the investigation.
