Police are appealing for witnesses following an unprovoked assault on Hartwell Place in North Belfast. A man was repeatedly punched and kicked during the incident on July 20. Local residents with any information or footage are urged to come forward to help officers identify the suspect.

Local police are appealing to the North Belfast community for information following a serious and unprovoked attack on Hartwell Place last month.
The incident occurred at around 9pm on July 20, when a man was approached and repeatedly punched in the head. After falling to the ground, the victim was subjected to further violence as the attacker kicked him in the head multiple times.
Officers are urgently working to identify the person responsible for this violent act in our neighborhood. Anyone who witnessed the incident, has CCTV or dashcam footage from the Hartwell Place area around that time, or holds any information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact police quoting incident reference number 860 of 25th July.
