Police are appealing for information following an assault in the Flax Street area of Ardoyne on Sunday night. Officers are particularly interested in speaking with the drivers of four specific vehicles seen in the vicinity.

Police are reaching out to the North Belfast community for assistance following an incident in Ardoyne on Sunday evening, February 22. Officers were called to the Flax Street area at approximately 9:15 pm after reports of an ongoing assault involving a man and a woman.
It is understood that the assault occurred shortly after 9:00 pm. Following the incident, both individuals left the scene in a grey Skoda, travelling in the direction of Ardoyne.
As part of their ongoing enquiries, police have issued a specific request for the drivers of four particular vehicles to come forward. If you were driving a blue Audi Q5, a white Citroen Crossover/SUV, a blue Mercedes hatchback, or a blue Renault Kadjar in the area at the time, your information could be vital to the investigation.
The community is encouraged to check any dashcam footage or recall if they saw anything unusual on Sunday night. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101, quoting the reference number 1472 of 23/02/26. Your help ensures our neighbourhood remains a safe place for everyone.
