Local police have taken action against drug dealing in North Belfast with the arrest of three individuals on Easter Sunday. Following a series of person and house searches in the Ardoyne area, as well as follow-up searches outside the city, officers located a quantity of controlled drugs.
Two men and one woman were taken into custody on various charges, including Possession with Intent to Supply a Controlled Drug. The operation is part of an ongoing effort to disrupt those who exploit vulnerable people in our community for their own gain.
The PSNI has reaffirmed its commitment to targeting those responsible for bringing drugs into our neighborhoods, stating that they will continue to identify and arrest anyone involved in these illegal activities. However, police emphasized that community support is vital to these efforts.
Residents are encouraged to help keep North Belfast safe by sharing any information they may have regarding drug dealing. You can contact the police on 101, report through the official website, or provide information anonymously via Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
