Police Investigate Shooting at Woodvale Avenue Property; No Injuries Reported

Police have launched an investigation after four shots were fired through the front window of a residential property on Woodvale Avenue late last Friday evening. Despite the serious nature of the attack, thankfully no one inside the home was injured. Authorities are appealing to North Belfast residents for any information or footage that could assist their enquiries.

The North Belfast community has been alerted following a serious incident last Friday evening (December 19th) on Woodvale Avenue, where four shots were fired through the window of a residential property. Police have confirmed they have launched a full investigation into the attack.

The incident took place around 9.20 pm. While there were people inside the home at the time the shots were fired through the front window, we are relieved to report that nobody was injured, although damage was caused to the property.

Detective Sergeant Stevenson, who is leading the investigation, confirmed that authorities are working hard to establish the motive behind this attack. They are urging local residents to come forward with any information, no matter how small it may seem.

Police are specifically appealing for any relevant dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from the Woodvale Avenue area around the time of the incident that could help with their enquiries.
