Local police officers have carried out a series of proactive operations across North Belfast this week in a sustained effort to tackle antisocial behaviour and criminality in the area.
The operations led to the seizure of multiple items that posed risks to public safety. Officers confiscated six e-scooters alongside quantities of Class A, B, and C controlled drugs, as well as a significant amount of cash.
During the patrols, police also stopped three youths who were found in possession of fireworks, with one of the young people also carrying a knife.
Police highlighted their ongoing commitment to taking proactive steps against disorder, emphasising that they will continue working alongside residents and community partners across North Belfast to reduce crime and keep local neighbourhoods safe for everyone.
