Officers working from Tennent Street Police Station have said they will be taking a "proactive response" to reports of dangerous and illegal use of E-scooters with four of them being seized recently with the riders facing possible driving offences. Police have appealed to parents to not let their children use E-scooters on the roads, warning that they or members of the public risk serious injury. : : A PSNI spokesperson said: "Following ongoing community concerns around the dangerous and illegal use of E-scooters in North Belfast officers from Tennent Street have implemented a proactive response to this. "Last night 4 E-scooters have been seized and riders are facing potential prosecution for driving offences. The use of E-scooters on public roads and footpaths is illegal and we are receiving reports of young riders weaving dangerously on our roads between cars often dressed all in black.
