Security Alert in Canning Place: Local Residents Evacuated

A security alert is currently underway in the Canning Place area of North Belfast this morning, Sunday 12th April. Police are currently at the scene attending to the incident, and a number of local residents have been evacuated from their homes to ensure their safety.

The PSNI has advised the public to avoid the Canning Place area for the time being while the investigation continues. We know this is a concerning time for our neighbors in the immediate vicinity, and we hope for a quick resolution so that everyone can return to their homes safely.
