Local police have arrested three men following a serious assault in the Duncairn Parade area of North Belfast. Officers are appealing to the community for any information that might assist with their ongoing investigation.

A serious incident in our local community has led to the arrest of three men on suspicion of attempted murder. The arrests follow a serious assault that took place inside a residential property in the Duncairn Parade area on Monday evening, 20th July 2026. Emergency services and police quickly attended the scene after receiving a report shortly before 6:00 PM.
The three men in custody—one aged in his 30s and two in their 40s—are currently assisting police with their enquiries. As the investigation continues, local officers are keeping a presence in the area.
Our thoughts are with those affected by this distressing event. The police are urging anyone in the North Belfast community who may have witnessed anything unusual or who has any information to come forward.
