Police have arrested two men following a reported stabbing in the Bentinck Street area on Thursday afternoon. Officers remain at the scene as investigations continue.

Local residents may have noticed a police presence in the Bentinck Street area of North Belfast today, Thursday 26th March, following a reported stabbing incident. The incident occurred shortly after 2:05 PM, and officers have remained at the scene throughout the afternoon to carry out enquiries.
Two men, aged 33 and 35, have been taken into police custody. They were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon with intent. While the investigation is ongoing, police have indicated that they do not believe anyone has sustained life-threatening injuries.
