Get ready to explore a world of new opportunities right on your doorstep! A fantastic Job Fair is set to take place at St George’s Market on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, from 11am to 2pm.
This free event, hosted in partnership with the Belfast Labour Market Partnership, is designed to connect jobseekers from across North Belfast and beyond with a wide range of employers and support services.
With over 70 exhibitors confirmed, you’ll find representatives from various booming sectors, including construction, transport, security, health and social care, enterprise, hospitality, and professional and business services. Many of these employers are actively recruiting for current vacancies, making this a prime opportunity to land your next role.
Beyond direct employment, you can also learn about valuable support available. Representatives from local Employment Academies will be on hand to share details on tailored training programmes designed to help you gain qualifications, build confidence, and smoothly transition into employment. Support organisations will also provide practical advice on essential skills like CV preparation, crafting effective job applications, mastering interview techniques, and even pathways into further training or starting your own business.
“This Job Fair is a brilliant chance for anyone looking to make their next career move,” says Councillor Joe Duffy, Chair of the City Growth and Regeneration Committee. “Whether you're just starting out, returning to work, looking to upskill, or considering a completely new career path, this event offers invaluable connections. It highlights our commitment to helping residents find meaningful employment and ensuring local businesses can find the talented workforce they need.”
Attending the event couldn't be easier – there's no need for prior registration. Just head to the Oxford Street entrance when doors open at 11am. For those who prefer a calmer start, a 'Quiet Time' will be in operation from 10:30am to 11am, with reduced noise and crowd levels. Mark your calendars and get ready to take a significant step forward in your career journey!
