The park is popular with wildlife enthusiasts, being home to various water birds like mallards and tufted ducks, as well as the dipper, which is seen alongside the Milewater Stream. The park's lower glen offers great views across Belfast. Parks are free to visit and open daily at 7.30am, with closing times varying seasonally. Disposable barbecues are not permitted.
