Safer Schools

Safer Schools NI, a partnership between the Department of Education Northern Ireland and INEQE Safeguarding Group, offers a digital safeguarding communication toolkit for school communities. It provides a digital library of age-appropriate safeguarding resources available 24/7. Schools receive free access to a customised version of the Safer Schools NI App and a 'Teach Hub' with resources and lessons for teachers, parents, and carers. The goal is to keep staff, parents, and pupils informed and protected by providing necessary information when it's needed. The app is designed to be accessible to various learners by incorporating visual, audio, and written elements. Support is also provided to help schools launch the safeguarding tool effectively.
