Waterworks Multi Sports Facility

PureGym Newtownabbey, located at Shore Road Retail Park, provides a 24/7 fitness facility with no contract-based memberships. The gym is equipped with over 220 pieces of kit and offers more than 50 free fitness classes weekly, including circuits and boot camp. Membership tiers start from £16.99 per month, with options for multi-gym access and booking classes up to 14 days in advance. Personal trainers are available on-site for one-to-one guidance. The facility includes free parking for 132 cars, although restrictions may apply. It is accessible by car via SatNav code BT36 7BS, by bus with a short walk from the Abbey Shopping Centre, and has bike racks available. The gym is managed by a dedicated team, including a Gym Manager and an Assistant Gym Manager, to support members.

Loughside Recreation Centre is a Better facility on Shore Road, Belfast, offering a wide range of amenities for the community, including a sports hall and a gym. The centre provides affordable activities and various membership options such as pay-as-you-go, day passes, and corporate memberships. The location is temporarily closed. It features accessible parking and operates in partnership with Belfast City Council. The centre is managed by GLL (Greenwich Leisure Limited), a charitable social enterprise.
