Young at Art is Northern Ireland's leading arts provider for children and young people, operating from a base in Belfast’s city centre. Its flagship annual event is the Belfast Children's Festival, held in March, featuring local, national, and international performances, exhibitions, and activities. Beyond the festival, the organisation engages with children and adults year-round through several programmes. Its Education & Engagement Programme delivers projects and initiatives to connect young people to the arts. Other activities include one-off events and partnerships, such as the Baby Rave. Young at Art also offers professional development opportunities through festival industry events, arts-based CPD training, and work experience. The organisation is run by a small staff team and overseen by a voluntary Board of Directors from the arts, education, youth, and business sectors.
